In 2023, Tiglin at the Lighthouse café illuminated the lives of those experiencing homelessness by serving an astounding 120,000 hot meals. Located at 28 Pearse Street, our café has become a beacon of hope for many. However, with the growing demand for our services, we face a critical challenge.

What was once an average of 80 meals per day has skyrocketed to 400, showcasing the pressing need in our community. Despite the tireless efforts of our core team and dedicated volunteers, we cannot sustain this alone.

We are reaching out to sponsors like you to join hands with us in our mission to combat hunger and homelessness. Tiglin at the Lighthouse operates solely on the generosity of donors and volunteers. Every meal prepared is a testament to the compassion and creativity of our chef, who sources ingredients from various channels, including donations and Food Cloud.

A meal at the Lighthouse can open life-changing opportunities as the provision of meals is not Tiglin's end goal. Our staff are equipped to support people on their progression to exit homelessness thought rehabilitation opportunities, educational and employment opportunities and provision of housing.
